It's everywhere.

It's freeing in some ways to belong to a cult, to stop thinking so hard, to trust absolutely and enthusiastically obey.

With a righteous and intelligent cult leader, you can produce some of the finest communities this way. Most people aren't sufficiently good, to use that unchecked authority without abusing their followers. The ones that are usually have little interest in socializing as a king among sheep. They don't have an appetite for social superiority like that. They don't need to be elevated.

The modern world cult is more like NXIVM (nexium), using isolation paranoia abuse and hysteria to undermine public ability to make sense of things, so that the voice of authority remains the only constant. If the voice of authority changes their narrative to abrogate past claims, the new claims are embraced and the old ones condemned. This makes cultists even more dependent on authority. From now on arguing with leftists should be focusing on cult deprogramming techniques.

Remember the kid who would shout YES when asked if they would jump iff a bridge if everybody else did? And then they tried to play it off as a joke? They weren't joking.

You just now came to this conclusion? Liberal agenda being carried out to spread fear in most liberal city in Texas, I live really close and Austin is full of sheep to the slaughter!

Ditto! I live north of ATX and the face diaper insanity is here too. I've been emailing my city council, with no response, about when the mandate will expire and what criteria needs to be met to achieve this. Nothing nada. They don't care about the mental and physical well being of their citizens. Period.

SonAnon lives in Austin. Here visiting. Like a number of places Austin was kind of strange but semi-OK. No longer. In the middle of Texas but saw no Trump signs.

As a Texan I'm ashamed to say that you have to get about 20 miles outside of Austin before you are back in Texas.

It always been somewhat liberal because of University of Texas but really turned a hard left when the IT companies moved in and brought their progressive white guilt mindset with them. Hence the saying, 'Keep Austin Weird'.

Sad.

Okay that makes more sense. Austin is like L.A., only farther east.
