Tattoos go back to some of the earliest preserved human remains. European remains. I don't think degeneracy really applies to one of our oldest traditions.

so degeneracy didn't happen throughout history?

haha ok ...

I'm talking about people who lived and hunted in Europe before writing was invented. Not really much to degenerate from.

Having a bad day?

I don't give a fuck about tattoos, I care about the early life conditions that lead people down dark paths, which is what leads to the tattooing.

It's just one element in a suite of high-risk behaviors stemming from abuse, neglect, social gaslighting, and shitty/absent fathers. Creating the social conditions for mental thriving will vastly reduce tattoos as well as other things you hate.

... Okay fine, I'll start my neo-gnosticism. We need the power of religion if we're going to sort this out.

I like seeing tatts, because it tells me who to avoid...that goes 10x for chicks

[–] New-World-Ebola [S] 1 point 0 points (+1|-1) ago

true but it gets depressing

Huh, I have been trying the online dating thing after years of ignoring it...it seems every second ho has tatts, so I automatically block their thumbnail from the search results. This wasn't a problem 15-20 years ago. Modern women are hopeless if your even slightly right of center, and have SOME standards.

Tattoos on men is a mating strategy.

Tattoos on women is an attention whore strategy.

People who get tattoos are killing themselves: https://www.andreacatton.co.uk/2017/09/particles-tattoos-can-go-skin-deep/ I prefer fully functioning lymph nodes/immune system myself.

I got a tattoo to cover a rather unsightly scar, and I can assure you the person doing the tattoo was a classically trained artist, a painter. Their art was all over the walls in frames, and it was beautiful.

You can hate them, you don't have to get one, you can make the argument that people get too many, and tattoo addiction is not pretty, and there are plenty of people getting stupid tattoos or too many random things and it looks retarded.

But saying there is no such thing as a tattoo artist is just blind ignorance covering your hatred of a thing.

People have been getting tattoos for a LONG LONG time. And it can be art, or it can be shit, it's down to the person and the artist.

I think you're forced to hate it because it's become popular and people get impulse tattoos and what you hate is people getting tattoos for no reason and it's polluting the natural beauty of a person's body a lot of the time. I think for the most part women have no business getting tattoos.

tattoos are for trash.

i don't care if you want to cover a scar.

i have injuries too.

fuck the vandalism of the human body.

And you don't have to get a tattoo, there are plenty of people who don't get them. And I understand your distaste of them due to the popularity and societal pressure.

Blame social media, plenty of people got them before, and they've been around for a long time, but now girls see pretty pictures and postmodern feminism tells them to write slut on themselves.

But you're clearly upset about something more than tattoos.
