Correlation is not equal to causation.
Wearing mask does not cause the disease.
Wearing mask is stupid. But I imagine it doesn't have direct effect of increasing the chances of getting sick.
I would imagine that the mask wearing people are more in contact with sick people, maybe just because they are more exposed to groups in close spaces thinking the masks will save them.

Count in these facts. Most people are reusing the same masks. Also, you're more likely to touch your face over and over in order to readjust the mask.
Combine these two facts, and you're statistically more likely to get COVID than someone who isn't wearing one.

There might be other reasons in there as well. People wearing masks might be a bit more inclined to risk of infection because "They have protection", secondly there is also the oxygen deprivation argument impairing one's immune system by imposing a breathing restriction.

Wearing the mask gives people a false sense of security as well so they don't do other things like
-wash hands
-social distance
-etc.
They feel more comfortable getting right up in someone's face to yell at them for not wearing a mask, as has happened to me and is shown in countless videos online.
They think the mask makes them immune.

Masks are just a placebo to make people think they are stopping the virus from spreading, even though there is not a virus spreading wildly. Masks have a secondary, psychological value in that forcing people to wear them makes them think the virus is real, and that their actions are stopping an epidemic that never was to begin with. As we saw in the states that murdered tens of thousands of senior citizens, if you put sick people in with those most vulnerable, it doesn’t work out well. Not that we don’t already know that from cruise ships.

I like your post for it's more direct link to source information rather than a news media's ambiguous interpretation.
One question I'm keen to know is what is the ratio of mask wearers to non-mask wearers?
A reason why there is such a high proportion of mask wearers is because there's a higher population right now cucked into wearing masks.

When I go into the store I'd guess I see 1 in every 20 people not wearing a mask. Maybe 1 in 10 if you count people who wear the mask incorrectly on purpose.

Well yeah the majority of masks people are wearing don't protect your from anything. They need to have some type of filter to trap particles not just a piece of cloth

One more, that's like saying --> most people who are breathing got COVID 19.

There is no evidence that masks and social distancing are doing the job they're supposed to.

Oh, they're doing the job they're supposed to do. It's just that that job isn't to keep people healthy.
