I do it all the time to get what I want. I try my best to be as nice and friendly as possible when dealing with someone. Even if I hate their guts, I kill them with kindness. Most of the time I get what I want out of the situation and it's almost always win-win. I guess it would be considered manipulation since I know I am doing it. Sometimes I do it with customer service when I'm making a complaint and try to squeeze and extra discount or perk out of a situation.

I manipulate to get what I want but I never do it at the cost of someone else's happiness or wellbeing

If you consider asking people questions, in a polite way that would cause them to think critically about whatever it is they believe in that is in conflict with reality, a form of manipulation then yes. Because I value critical thinkers over those who give up thought for comfortable security.
No, but I love to subtly fuck with them sometimes. For example, my neighbor is a psychopath who spends her days hosing our lawn (and dogs, for that matter) brcause she thinks we're trying to tunnel under her lawn. So I smile at her and ask if shes having fun yet (unless she's spraying our dogs, in which case I give her the finger and take the dogs inside). It pisses her off so much, and then she just leaves muttering some random gibberish to herself. And then I break out into a laughing fit.
