Just as a recheck, I went on Archive to find CNN's page for 8-1-2018, which is within that 30-day period. Headlines would be considered to be article titles on the front page of the main section of a newspaper or on the main page of a news website. There were 114 items on CNN's main page that day, and not one had McCain in the title.
I don't state anything unless I know it to be true. I hate lying more than anything.

I looked at that page of results and didn't see McCain's name in any of the headlines. It was only in the text of the articles. Nice try.
