What about that tick that makes you allergic to meat?

My grandmother had such claims. She worked at Fort Dietrich during WW2 as a enlisted person. I’m not sure what she did but she had full VA disability and would tell me crazy stories like how she got bit by a mosquito and infected with a biological weapon. I believe her but there was nothing I could do to help her.

Lyme disease first found near the bio-lab town of Lyme, CT

Read lab 257..by Michael christopher carroll, you will know it was project paper clip gone wrong. They had animals outside, and forgot or overlooked the birds flying in and eating at the same trough as the infected bovines, the birds got the ticks, flew over and infected the deer..
It definitely is. So much so that I'm legitimately shocked to find out that it hadn't already been confirmed. I thought it was something everyone knew. It wasn't one they meant to unleash on their own people, but it was definitely made by the government. There's a government research facility outside of Lyme that's basically only separated from the town by a forest. Seems pretty easy to connect the dots from "government research facility on the outskirts of town" to "new disease discovered in the town right next to a government research facility."

I thought this was common knowledge tbh.

Plum island? A bunch of creepy animals washed up right next to the island if I remember right.

Yep, in Lyme County. On Plum Island they were experimenting with using Ticks as a way to deliver a bioweapon. The diseased Ticks made it ashore.
