What about that tick that makes you allergic to meat?
It definitely is. So much so that I'm legitimately shocked to find out that it hadn't already been confirmed. I thought it was something everyone knew. It wasn't one they meant to unleash on their own people, but it was definitely made by the government. There's a government research facility outside of Lyme that's basically only separated from the town by a forest. Seems pretty easy to connect the dots from "government research facility on the outskirts of town" to "new disease discovered in the town right next to a government research facility."

Oh it definitely was. Documents revealed it was intended to be used against soviets to make their population tired, lazy, lethargic, and mentally dulled. Just some very vague, hard to diagnose, slow and insidious debilitation. You don't want or need to kill.. that's too obvious. Just drag everyone down 10, 20, 30% and the entire country will stumble

I thought this was common knowledge tbh.

My grandmother had such claims. She worked at Fort Dietrich during WW2 as a enlisted person. I’m not sure what she did but she had full VA disability and would tell me crazy stories like how she got bit by a mosquito and infected with a biological weapon. I believe her but there was nothing I could do to help her.

Plum island? A bunch of creepy animals washed up right next to the island if I remember right.

Yep, in Lyme County. On Plum Island they were experimenting with using Ticks as a way to deliver a bioweapon. The diseased Ticks made it ashore.
