Maybe it's not standalone, but maybe it lets your browser run Flash. Try it again in Chromium if you already installed the "standalone" player. If that doesn't work, then try installing Chrome.
Because on that page, it says:
Build responsive games and video content across browsers and OS versions.
So that suggests you still need a browser to run it.
