Just watched it 2 weeks ago. Great old movie. Critical takeaway: Ellsworth M. Toohey set all of the newspaper staff he could against Howard Rourke and his architecture. All the way down to the comics and women's sewing circle column. Sound familiar? Screw the collective mob I say.

I read the book when I was 10 years old. Pulled it off our library shelf for a book report, by chance. Many of the concepts went over my head at the time.
It's very relevant and would rate this film as one of the best of all time, if not the best.
