Who was AG involved in Iran Contra? William Barr he will cover up CF too

"Donald Trump’s nomination of William Barr to become attorney general has recast the spotlight on the presidency of George H.W. Bush. Barr served as attorney general in the Bush administration from late 1991 to early 1993. Most notably, Barr railed publicly against a long running independent counsel investigation of the Reagan-Bush administration and he fully supported President Bush’s last minute pardon of Caspar Weinberger, Reagan’s former defense secretary. Weinberger had been indicted on five felony charges, including accusations that he obstructed federal investigations and lied to Congress about the Iran-Contra affair.

In the wake of Bush’s recent death, innumerable editorials have heaped praise on the late president for his prudent and polite leadership. Far too little attention has been paid to his role in the Iran-Contra scandal."

Lurker, While I hope this is the case. I would not use the term "official". Is Little Poppi the ONLY source? It has been a hopeful rumor but I have to question this kid. He really has no access to inside info. He was a very small fish and was used rather easily by the DS. Just sayin....

Pretty sure I saw Papdopolous, sunglasses and all, as ACB's nomination was wrapping up today in Rose Garden. That required an invite. Interesting as well to me is this article comes out yesterday and today there's is chatter about ACB's adopted children possibly triggering a renewed interest in CF & Haiti re: mishandled funds, child trafficking.

Newsmax, Gateway Pundit, Fox and NYT (probably more) are reporting Durham is looking into the CF. Papa's tweet/interview states it is now a criminal investigation (of the investigators?, CF? Or both, IDK). I post mostly breaking news, we rip it apart here looking for holes, lies, truths, implications, connections, etc. I don't know how Papadopoulos gets his info, he seems very sharp for a low level player. We should know shortly if Papadopoulos is correct, until then make of it what you will. I don't have the definitive answers or sources to confirm/deny his assertion.

Times

It was not clear whether Mr. Durham’s investigators were similarly looking for violations in the Clinton Foundation investigation, nor whether the comparison would be included or play a major role in the outcome of Mr. Durham’s inquiry…

TGP

The New York Times is notorious for pushing messages from the Deep State. The fact that the Times did not highlight that the fact that Durham is investigating the Clinton Foundation is because it is now a criminal investigation is not surprising.

Understood. Also it is interesting that the chatter is there may be question into AB's adoptions from Hati. Let the irony begin. The very place DS does not want us to look. Hope she played it straight up.

This is all painfully slow.... But hope it at least links the traitor trudeau to the clintons, so we can get that 6ft4 steaming turd arrested.... No one in Canada seems willing or able to do it. Sadly.

That is one tall pile of shit (with pasty eyebrows)! I didn't realize he was that tall.

You will know when he knows Durham is after him when his anti-Trump rhetoric suddenly goes through the roof. Crimes against humanity.

Indictments?

May 31st, 2019. Durham took over the Russian collusion ordeal, Huber was to be looking into Hillary Clinton. Now Durham has also taken over that. The fact that the Clinton Foundation was under criminal investigation was revealed then. This is not breaking news, it's a reminder and a shot across the bow. We knew, normies may have forgotten. That's the difference.

It's not a shot across the bow imo. It's election tactics.

Fair, but anons knew 👍

When will they actually do something about it? Took 4 years to determine that it is in fact a criminal investigation. How many more years before the finally decide to arrest someone for these criminal acts? Will the perps and/or the investigators have died of natural causes due to old age?

Friggin sloowwwwww!

Get on with it!

[–] Notimportant36 ago

Agreed, but if it becomes dozens / hundreds of high level arrests, it's going to take time to build a case for each charge. There's a reason (above and beyond the corruption) that the conviction rate of federal cases is so high.
