Long ago, I said maybe Jill Biden. Would not have to change the campaign signs.

Hmmmm, that means a lot more ballots need to be printed and mailed and returned.
Could just result in fewer votes for Democrats everywhere.....if Biden dropped out but people have already cast their mail in ballot for Biden and the slate of local candidates and issues ... will those ballots stand for Biden or can they be 'awarded' to a replacement candidate?
Wouldn't the replacement candidate have to be a write in candidate?
While Biden and Harris are probably two of the weakest possible candidates that the Democrat Party could put forth, (one must wonder why they were selected) changing them out with 40 days or less to go could completely flummox potential Democrat voters even if Big Mike were to step in.
Additionally, many states bind electors to those on the official ballot at least for the first vote so the replacement may not qualify for any electoral votes on the first round of voting.
I understand your theory but why just put her there in the first place?

Lemme guess....the House can vote an emergency exception due to COVID and riots. Ta-da! Last minute switch allowed

Big Mike ain't nobody's puppet. Why do you think he/she/it got a letter at Poppy's funeral. Follow the "wives"(term used loosely here).

Aren't there residency issues that make Big Mike ineligible?

I have believed all along this was the plan. Big Mike or someone else at the last minute, Dems pushing that a vote for Biden counts as a vote for the new candidate due to “ covid unprecedented circy” Ect. I think their entire plan revolves around using the SC to legalize whatever shit they tried to pull.
I think their hand was forced on releasing the whole Weekend at RBG’s gig. They knew Roberts is controlled and would sell out.
Now I think it all hinges still on not letting Trump replace her. What does a tied SC ruling mean ?
