Eww why do they have increased migrants? Is it because their population is ageing?
I recently found out the cost of birth in Japan is unbelievably and ridiculously high. Maybe they should improve their policies to encourage more babies be born instead of importing races that multiply like viruses.

All countries have immigration, and it's still about 1%, most from Korea and mainland China.
Look at the tables; If there is a 20% increase, it's from the year before, it's not 20% of the national population, its an increase on the previous year's migrant quota.
Some years in Japan saw a net immigrant total equaling two individuals, not 500,000-1.5million like some other nations.
