Even things like butter has soy in it these days. I always read the labels and find that organic labelled food is generally soy free, but you still have to checkc. And there is no additive that I know of that makes food better than the normal recipe so anytime I see things like "emulsifier" or "flavour enhancer" on the label I avoid it like the plague.

They always say people who prepare their own food are a lot healthier...
Healthier, and it tastes way better. Even pasta sauce - grab a can of organic tomato sauce, and toss in your own fresh herbs... way better, and not difficult. Pots and pans do tend to build to, though....

added sugar is often sugar extracted from wheat.
Try to find sweets without glucose syrup (made from wheat). If you are wheat intolerant you will get sick.

You might not know but wheat and corn are in most processed food. I have become completely allergic to both and I can tell you it's a nightmare to eat.
