The farther into this article I read the more its contemporary journalistic style pissed me off. It is as though it was written by a member of Dunn's staff. He is the only person quoted. He is quoted extensively and the entire piece is written essentially as a persuasive piece on his side of the case. If journalists ever want to be taken seriously again, they need to fully research their stories and present all available information from the differing perspectives. This belongs in a Dem donation mailer, not a piece purporting to be news coverage.

I can see the big picture just fine. My point has nothing specifically to do with Texas or this article. It is just sloppy propaganda passed off as news. It really should piss off anyone, even (maybe especially?) those sympathetic to its viewpoint. This is how most news is now done and so it makes sense they have lost much of their influence. It is almost childlike it how poorly it is done.
