I can't help but remember on day 1 of the mandatory mask in Canada, there was a video of a guy being taken down by police because he didn't want to wear the face diaper, but still wanted to order his coffee. I think our momentum was broken right here and there over where I live.

The protest in Melbourne, Victoria was hastily cancelled yesterday (Friday morning - protest is/was 11am Saturday) because our glorious leader "Comrade Dan Andrews" had said that he won't release his amazing new plan to get us out of this lockdown/martial law/curfew bullshit until Sunday, the day after the protest.
Because it's obvious the cunt doesn't have a plan and has no idea what the fuck he's doing the message went out for people not to protest so Dan couldn't use it as an excuse to just continue on because the risk of community transmission is too high "given the protests that went on over the weekend" ...
Sure enough this afternoon (Saturday) the news are reporting that someone in Dan's office has let slip that his roadmap plan out of this isn't ready and perhaps won't be ready for his announcement tomorrow.
If he comes out tomorrow saying this shit is going to continue despite the protest not going ahead people will lose their shit. There's a lot of very very angry people here with nothing much more to lose. The idea of doing this until there's a vaccine just isn't justifiable given the low numbers of cases and deaths we've had.
Not sure if I've explained that well or not ... I'll try and answer shit as best I can if anyone wants to know more.

A pointed moment. But remarkable nevertheless.

Well, now we know why the DS/Cabal pushed so hard to outlaw guns in Australia. The Australian people should have listened to those that were warning them. Now we see what an unchecked government drunk on power does to its citizens. This is an advertisement for why we in the US can only support those running for office who truly support the 2nd Amendment. The 2nd Amendment is the last check and balance on Government overreach and tyranny. Exactly why it was placed there by our ever so wise Founding Fathers.

Absolutely right. We're at war everyday of our lives. And you need weapons. Don't let them be taken away. Ever.

People from Australia that post here say they do have guns.
I agree we should only support candidates who preserve our Constitutional and God-given rights. This type of support should be automatic, we should not have to wonder if a particular candidate does that or not. It's one of the most disturbing parts of all this, instead of making progress doing something like discussing advanced educational methods for our children we are defending our basic rights, rights that should never be in question in the first place.
Guns are a necessary part of life for many reasons but they're not going to save us from what we're currently facing. In this guy's situation a gun wouldn't have fixed things even if he wiped them all out. It's comforting to talk about the protection and peace of mind being armed gives; it's another thing to delude ourselves into thinking using our small arms on individual state agents will do anything but land us in prison forever.

We do have guns although more so in rural areas. What we don't have is a cultural self defense doctrine like the US. There is no right to self defense unless my life is in absolute danger - anything less and I'm supposed to run away.
Shit would have to get really really bad before gun owning Aussies bright them out for retribution. It's a different culture completely from the wild west, self reliance thing you've got going on over in the US.

The state has near unlimited financial assets compared to the individual but smaller, less organized insurgencies against tyranny (Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam) can and will whittle down on the more organized force. It sucks, it won't be a quick victory but if everyone on a block teamed up its typically enough to overwhelm a department's police force. Small towns usually have 30-50 police staff total. Cities 20k-80k cops, in the face of millions. The state needs us to work and pay taxes or they have nothing.
