I was trying to find the source data, and it is actually an interesting data set. The source data is here as a giant Excel file, and the coding of whether a protest was violent is here on page 24 of this pdf. They say that Portland did have 100 or so protests with 50% being riots (ie violent). For the Saint Kyle event, they did say there was violence on both sides. One flaw is they have antifa as a actor in only about a dozen events. They actually have "jewish group" as an actor in more events than antifa.
I'd be interested if any of you know of violent events that are reported in this data set as protests (non-violent).

93% was the final "polling number" used in 2016.
I'd be willing to bet that 93% is the highest that stats can go before people stop believing them en masse.
