Anyone that has taken first year veterinary science already knows that fluoride is harmful to liveststock as it is not only a neurotoxin, it damages teeth. One of the first things that you are taught is that well water that naturally contains high levels of fluoride can cause the teeth of livestock to crack and mottle. As such, water with these amounts of fluoride must never be given to livestock. The tooth enamel actually over hardens until the teeth become yellow and brittle. When the enamel becomes brittle, thousands of microfractures occur in the tooth enamel which allows the softer inner layer of the dentin to be exposed to bacteria which in turn decays the teeth. As such, ruminants like cattle for example start losing their teeth and will even shatter them as they chew on hay or silage to finely grind the food before swallowing. The first sign that cattle have damaged teeth is weight loss which will lead to death due to starvation being that the livestock can no longer grind lignin based food sources. So the question is, if a Doctor of Veterinary medicine already knows this most important fact about fluoride, why are Doctors of Dentistry not taught this very basic scientific fact? The answer is that mottled cracked teeth allow for bacteria to damage the dentin under the enamel which leads to tooth decay. Che-CHING!!!

This interview got California's law a bit wrong. Fluoridation isn't quite mandatory. The cities I've lived in don't add fluoride. The catch is, if anyone anywhere offers the funding to a municipality (e.g. George Soros), they are required by law to fluoridate.
