That would be a two-week administrative Hell, nowadays.

Nuts. You can't access your kids freely? That's messed up.

I'd sign it after I put my children will not be eavesdropping either.
Teachers do not like parents being a part of their indoctrination.

They are so busted !

Rather suspect to say the least.
Perhaps teachers should have to wear body cameras as well, as they insist law enforcement does. Wouldn't you rather protect students over criminals? I would, and it sure sounds like they need them.

Sure, unfortunately, many parents like "schools" as day care. Unfortunately, they aren't even suitable for that role.

Evans added: "We have issued new guidance to principles that parents can assist their children during virtual group lessons with permission of the instructor but should refrain from sharing or recordings any information about other students in the classroom."
This is so easy to solve if this is the issue they want to sit on (instead of the obvious). There is NO reason kids need to see/hear each other in a virtual classroom - only the teacher. I've been in plenty of hosted virtual meetings where the only person seen is the host. All the participants don't see each other and are muted unless the host un-mutes them. This should apply here too.
School systems belong in the public domain. There should be total transparency about the lessons taught. As a homeschool parent - we have to submit a lesson plan to our umbrella organization on what we intend to teach. The exact same should apply here and parents should be demanding it from the rooftops

Yes it's a very suspect thing to request.
Especially when you consider these are the same people insisting police wear body cameras.
I'm much more interested in protecting the welfare of children over criminals.

Tennessee is a beautiful state. The people in charge there are very corrupt though.

I'd send a note back saying, from now on we will be recording everything my child sees or hears during their online classes.
