Can you also see how this can be divisive between Parents and Children vs Teachers....even perhaps their grades? Children will be caught in the middle between parents and school. Would they 'rat' out their parents for listening in? This is SOOOOO not good.

Ridiculous. Parents were allowed to drop by any classroom any time and I had no say in the matter. If parents could ‘over hear/see’ confidential information online, why couldn’t they in person? Most of the kids don’t know the confidential information - usually medical - except that ‘Suzy’ needs to go to the nurses office for her meds. How is that supposed to leak out in on-line courses when Suzy is at home?
