Patriot, they may not add years to your life, but they sure add life to your years.

I've lost many things including 5 boxers but thankful for my new boxer pup! Sorry for the bad news.

I cried every time I thought of my little pup, and it was for several years. I was never a dog lover before. Unbelievable how they become "family" and a huge part of your heart.

When my 165# lapdog disappeared I felt hollow for months. He was my heart. I still miss him every day. I became so dog lonely I finally adopted a puppy. I’ve had her 8 months. I can’t say she filled his paws but can say she filled my heart. That’s what he would have wanted.

I have lost a good woman through divorce and a good pup has passed on me.I will admit that the loss of the bitch bruised my soul, while the other one just cost me time and money. The pup I had to replace within weeks and has helped to fill the house the last decade as I have so far been happily single. Take your time brother, but I do recommend you get another pup as soon as your heart will allow. You need a companion for those long walks in the moonlight, your old one would not want you to be alone.
