Right, I'm not saying that use of drugs in moderation is some terrible thing to be condemned. That's a Completely different argument. What I am saying is that, based on my experiences, the use of recreational drugs dulled down life. The opposite of what OP was asking about. I don't regret my choices, but I wouldn't do it again if I had the opportunity to do it over again (and that's probably why I haven't touched anything in right about 20 years).
I'm not saying I have the idea on lock, but my life experiences have consistently gotten better the longer I've lived. Most of that is simply having money to spend on experiences (though that does play directly into an argument against recreational drug use, it can be a major money drain), but there's a significant segment that can only be chalked up to being "High on Life" (lol, I'm groaning myself so stop rolling Your eyes).
