I just looked at a second one and it says

Based on developing syndromic ILI, less contacts became symptomatic in the 'mask' tents compared to the 'control' tents (31% versus 53%, p= 0.04). However, laboratory results did not show any difference between the two groups. This pilot study shows that a large trial to assess the effectiveness of facemasks use at Hajj is feasible.

So you posted the link to what end?

Fair enough. I'm tired and I was sloppy. It was the first article I looked at. That said, have you read all 70 articles? Did you notice that any of the articles were essentially drafts?

Some are. Some aren't. The articles go back to 2003. 17 years of articles and unless the entire world-wide science community is a one big giant fraud/scam, 70 articles over 17 years... Not to mention that calling the science community a fraud or similar completely discredits your own post which has links to things only going back as far as 2006 (and only 42 articles).

Have you read them?

My original post was posted as a point of information. It's up to the reader to decide if they believe it or not. Hell, I don't even know what I believe on it, but I suspect masks are more likely to keep you from giving it to someone than they are to keep you from getting it.

On the other hand, you posted something that I suspect you didn't even take the time to review or read to try to score points for your mask agenda, and when I pointed out that 1. the first article I looked at wasn't peer reviewed, and 2, the second article I looked at didn't support your position it pissed you off. I don't intend to read through a list of 70 articles from 17 years to see if they even mostly support your agenda. Believe what you want and I will and so will everyone else on the board. If you knew anything about science at all, you'd know that very rarely is anything "settled science" especially in the medical sciences.
