I print out the store's policy stating exceptions, or the government order (they all have exemptions, because they have to). If anybody speaks to me about the mask I don't say a word. Not one word. I point to my face/mask gesture, shake my head, and then hand them the paper and point to the highlighted section that explains the exemption. You would be shocked at how well this works. The key is not speaking at all. I think they assume I'm deaf.

I just put a keffiyeh (one of those scarf/headwrap cloth things arabian people use) around my neck, tied in the back with a half-knot. I usually just leave my face completely showing, but if it seems like I need to 'mask up' for some reason, I just pull the thing up a little in front, to around my nose. It's pretty loose and comfortable to wear, no stupid ear loops, and no one has ever objected. Occasionally, when I have to go in to one of the big stores that mandate face coverings, I will do the full arab tactical headwrap, just for effect heh heh. I have a couple of cool ones, my favorite is made in USA and has a stars & stripes pattern on it.

Hahahaha yeah right. Everyone's a karen these days and they definitely say something 100 percent of the time believe me I have tried it.
Also Billy Gates has said the mask is for at least 4 years...
The one thing you did get right is nobody notices or cares if you want the mask improperly.. they're all doing that..
