Well, reddit should be hard to takedown, as they are no doubt using ddos protection from one of the big vendors.

But these are hackers we are talking about, so... sql injection maybe? Who the hell knows.

Reddit as a company has never spent much time innovating technologically. Any other top-100 websites go down several times every week due to being overloaded? Their answer to too many users is to throw more hardware at it.
