IIRC, there were fireworks after 9/11 and during the Bush/Gore election challenge. Who os behind this?

I saw an article last night that nations were working together to put a stop to illegal fireworks being imported. There was some big bust a few months ago

This has many reasons I am sure, but I bet one of them is to mess with ShotSpotter. It is a system in most major metro areas that detects gunshots and will alert local police units. By inundating the system with fireworks it will in a sense disable the systems in most areas. That is why police always say 4th of July is a pain in the ass because of shots fired calls. Normal people calling in plus the system will pretty much ruin the system.

Those systems, at least the newer versions, record and compare audio from fireworks and gunshots and are supposed to be able to tell the difference. Not sure exactly how effective it is though.

I have noticed a huge amount of fireworks at night. It’s after my bedtime at least so I just hear them go off for awhile. I know there’s some Mexicans on my block so I just assumed it was them, or the blacks. Way more than normal but I didn’t give it much thought. I wonder if my neighbors are making in calls.

Now lets crossreference it with how many illigal aliens complains came in and how many of those reporting fireworks reported illegal invaders.
