I'm old, and spent my 20's and early 30's being a functional alcoholic. Often times I would be out till 2-3 am, and be required to show up at work at 9 am. It hurt. I found drinking copious amounts of water before passing out to REALLY help. In the morning, I would indulge in a Gatorade and the usual coffee, along with a large breakfast that was high in protein, steak and eggs were my favorite. There is some science to my cure too, here is an article talking about the benefits of protein after a night of binge drinking.

Mine is b12 (like in a 5 hour energy) before starting, a gatorade during, and about a half galon of water after. Then sprite and a monster the next day.
If all else fails, pickle juice is the king of remedies.

I definitely go for pickle juice, I had no idea anyone else tried it. All my friends think I'm insane.

If you have really overdone it, make yourself throw up before you go to bed and then slowly drink some water, this helps immensely in reducing the severity of your hangover the next day. If you are fortunate enough to not have to work the next morning, I have found a Bloody Mary and some bacon and then a nap really does the trick. Also if you can force yourself to exercise getting a good sweat going can help speed things along.
