If I owned that gym I'd buy a fucking generator and use some of the power to run a giant inflatable middle finger on the roof. The rest could light the place and run some fans.

So only some protests are ok? We can 'protest' the police but we can't protest useless, unscientific and draconian laws? This feels like when your parents used to say 'Because I told you so'.

Good example of why we should privatize as much as possible, eventually. Lots of swamp draining to do first, obviously..

That doesn't help anything in this case. The state will just order the private company to shut it off, and they'll comply.

Where do the people go for help with this kind of attack on our freedoms?

We have to hire a lawyer, etc., EVERY TIME they violate our basic human rights?

Why do we have a Constitution at the Federal and State levels?

5 more months with no way to push back against a handful of Marxists?

Serious question - what is our recourse - I know the Declaration of Independence instructs the people to dissolve such a government - how do we do that at the Local and State level?

You might not know this, but you don’t have to have a lawyer to file and prosecute a lawsuit. You have been brainwashed into thinking lawyers are required.

MA is notoriously liberal & Democratic. What is more valuable at this point--Constitutional freedoms? Or the lock-step subservience of citizens to a mayor or gov? Compare Blue vs Red states re: COVID.

GOP feel our liberties are under attack for political purposes (a HOAX), NOT public safety. In Blue States, liberals are in control of--& abusing--the levers of power (to charge, fine, shut down utilities, remove licensing, etc). MAGA people feel the Dem motives are: 1) To hamper 2020 Election. 2) The erosion of citizen-rights. 3) Destruction of Trump's economy.

Statistics & trends do not support continued shutdown. The harm to the economy of families & country override the Dem narrative.

I'm going to let you in on a secret, this country has jumped the shark.

Why does that mean what it means?

What does it mean to literally "jump the shark"?

The beginning of the end. Something is said to have "jumped the shark" when it has reached its peak and begun a downhill slide to mediocrity or oblivion. A point at which the person has lost touch and was beginning to grasp at straws.
