The police did find knives discarded in the area afterwards, that might be part of the reason they had to drop the charges they first brought against him.

100% wasn't a knife, it was his spectacles. The skateboard is real and deadly when swung at someones head.

i'm not sure there was a knife, the shooting was justified even without it. people who are dumb enough t chase a retreating person who has a gun should die
they will punish the guy harshly though to create an example out of him.
