Luckily boycotting Blizz-ivision is really easy since they haven't released anything worth playing in half a decade.

Diablo 2 was the last thing they did worth a shit. Everything after is cartoon bullshit

It was a real bummer for me to walk away from Overwatch over their preference of the Chinese over Hong Kong and America. I spent at least two hours a day, every day, for over two years. Left all the stuff I earned and all the "friends" I made in that time.
My username even comes from it.
I resent Blizzard so much for that lost time, for what decisions they forced me to make, that if I ever met one of their suits in public I don't know what I would do. Start throwing hands, I suppose.
Speaking of which I think Hong Kong is being annexed by greater china

I spent a lot of time on hearthstone and heroes of the storm. SC2 before those titles even. No longer.

You can double down by still enjoying their pre-Chinese content through private servers.

I remember actually being excited for Starcraft 2 way back when. It’s amazing how quickly the gaming industry became like some shitty offshoot of Hollywood instead of actually making fun games. I rarely play the vidya anymore but when I do, it’s been Halo 2. The late 90s and early 2000s were the golden age

Weird... I recently installed halo 2 on my computer. I really miss those days.

I was surprised (and delighted) when a bunch of popular streamers and general gamers (including many I know) boycotted Blizzard after they came out in support of the CCP.

Blizzard has been sucking Chinese dick since 2003. It's pretty much how they built their current brand, and has pretty much been on the label ever since. Nobody should be surprised for this.
