The labeling on that can almost looks contemporary.

Yes it does. Maxwell house would have been a coffee company for over 40 years at this point so maybe they had some pros on it already

That picture could have been taken at our house in the 50's and 60's. Except Christmas was just another day for us. Mama did the best she could for us. There was 12 kids and our "sperm donor" was a piece of shi#. He was a WW2 veteran who cared about no one but himself. Today he would be considered an abuser. Although we never saw him hit her, we all lived under his constant threats. We lived in the boonies with no neighbors within sight and no phone or car. He wouldn't let her get a license. He completely cut her off from her family, who lived in the same town. Mama died way too young, from being worked to death. Daddy lived to be 97 and demanded we cater to him. We did what we could stomach because mama would have wanted us to. We he died, he died alone in the VA and was buried beside mama. None of us 12 kids or any of our families attended the funeral. We all met at a local steakhouse and celebrated. Mama told us often we were loved, but none of us could remember a single time he had ever said those words or could find any pictures of him holding any of us. May he burn in hell for eternity.
