I think allowing inferior programming with bundled channels really dilutes the quality of our entertainment anyway.

I think so too. Cable is such a useful purpose-built technology for delivering content. It's not subject to bandwidth caps and you don't have to worry about it slowing down your internet connection. It's a shame it's so tied up in the bundle model that it's much less useful than it could be.

So I cut the cord over a year ago now, but one of the things I used to watch was ESPN. However I stopped watching it long before this. Their network turned into less about sports and more of a sports/TMZ network. I don't care what lebron James or tom Brady said about some random crap. Their CNN-like sensational sports reporting and trying to break the news about some random athlete on any given day drove me away years ago.
