Since earlier than that even, read up on General Order no. 100 signed into law by Abraham Lincoln. Make note of article 2 and then realize that no special proclamation has ever been issued...

Bush320 on Twitter: "What I'm about to share is simply a historical breakdown of the legal maneuvers that have led us unto this tenuous point in American and world history.

Were you aware that America is right now under a "declared state of war" since 9/11/01?..."

The mission was accomplished. The judenpress made you think they meant the whole war.

I know "official explanations" taste funny, but allegedly the poster was not there to mark the conclusion of the war in totality but for the ship's individual permanence in the conflict up to that point.

[Sorry VOAT won't let me publish the link with CP or something. Check out Dana Bash "White House pressed on 'mission accomplished' sign"]

"The banner signified the successful completion of the ship's deployment," [Cmdr. Conrad Chun] said, noting the Abraham Lincoln was deployed 290 days, longer than any other nuclear-powered aircraft carrier in history.

America has been in a continuous state of war since the American Revolution, mostly with indians. It's mostly asymmetrical war too.

The point is....if a state of war is declared there are numerous things that can be done legally outside the usual norms...ie mass arrests...or didn't you get that part of it ?

Indeed. ‘Twas the case with cointelpro and the National Guard gunning down anti-war protestors.
