You use the same logic as global warming/climate change jews. It's fake outrage for a cold.

Why are you willing to give up your rights for the safety of not getting the flu? You are a limp wristed faggot and deserve the rope. People have been getting sick since the beginning of time, what is special about this one other than the media going crazy and trying to scare everyone?

People have been getting sick since the beginning of time, what is special about this one other than the media going crazy and trying to scare everyone?

This is SARS Novel Coronavirus 2.

SARS Novel Coronavirus 1 had a case fatality rate of 10%.

The common cold is an (incurable) coronavirus, so what's novel or new about this one? Well, the first bit, the SARS.

"Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome: an acute respiratory illness caused by a coronavirus, characterized by fever, coughing, breathing difficulty, and usually pneumonia."

Here's something most people don't know - 75% of common flu infections don't have any symptoms, at all. But if you DO get symptoms then the flu, Influenza A or B, is fucking nasty.

SARS2 is the same, in that you may get it and not even notice. But if you do get symptoms? Then the death rate is around 10%, same as SARS1.

But wait, it's not just the severe breathing issues, this shit also damages your heart and liver.

But wait some more - even if you don't have any symptoms at all, it can still fuck up your lungs. Try a search, asymptomatic lung damage. Here's an example study:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7152865/

Even without symptoms the same "ground glass" effect in the lungs. You wouldn't notice, until you exert yourself and find you can't get your breath back. Oops.

Oh and this "Loadsa people already had it, no symptoms see?" thing? The study above says 27% went on to develop symptoms later, but you won't like that study, it's Chinese. Here's what the Italians said:

"In one week, we found 100 of 170 (59%) chest x-rays (mean patient age 57 ±16 years) had abnormalities highly suspicious for COVID-19 pneumonia (3). Involvement was bilateral in all cases: in 54% of patients the involvement was symmetrical, while chest x-ray abnormalities were greater on one side of the chest in 46%. RT-PCR swabs were not performed for confirmation. The prevalence of abnormal chest x-rays was similar to that reported by Inui et al. who reported CT findings in patients with COVID-19 from the Diamond Princess cruise ship (i.e., 54% of asymptomatic passengers had chest CT abnormalities)"

So yeah, there's a strong chance you will have a mild case, with no obvious symptoms - just take care not to exert yourself, because fibrosis of the lungs is a bitch.

See, it's not so black and white as "Old people die, everyone else is fine". It's more like "This seriously fucks you up, fucks up your lungs, fucks up your heart, thickens your blood and can cause strokes, damages your liver, it's all round fucking nasty, and yet you don't even notice at first. And if you're older? You're likely to die."

Bit different from "fine" then.

But anyway, it's waaaaay past the time you had ANY chance of containing this, so please do go back to work already, willya? Most of my income comes from selling to Americans or helping other companies to sell to Americans, so be a good chap and get back to work. Think of it as earning freedom! Wahoo! etc?

We're all rootin' for ya!

And if you notice you seem to be getting out of breath easy? Just a chest cold. You're gonna be fine, k?
