Don't worry, the news media will find something new to squawk about to tell us Orange Man Bad.

They were never that important. So you get a test, and you don't have Covid. Yay. You can get infected 5 seconds later and now you have it. We gonna test everybody every 5 minutes?

The tests are too see where it's spreading and stuff, but it's too late for America. It's all over your country and out of control, so just go back to work and stop being such babies about it

Marginally better than socialized medicine, and a month later. Nice

"We" don't have more cases, the Democrat-run urban shitholes do.

I've realized that there are only two reasonable uses of the test: limited random sample studies to get an idea of spread, and testing people with serious symptoms to determine course of treatment based on whether it's COVID-19 or something else.

Any other use of the test is almost useless. Even if you test negative you might get it the next day.

And yeah yeah, the whole thing is a hoax, the tests don't do anything, etc.

I'm just pointing out their hypocrisy. The number of tests was considered super-important when they could use it as a talking point to bash USA and Trump.

Oh it WAS super important, back when it was possible to contain it, but that's way in the rear mirror now. I don't think you have a single town left without at least one case, so give up and go back to work.

Just the flu right?

"the tests wont matter because you could just get it 5 seconds later" is part of the talking point easing us into the next 'conversation:

"--this is why we need to have a national conversation about mandatory vaccinations."

It's the same reason the media keeps asking trump if theres "going to be enough tests and vaccines for everyone!?" over and over.

The intent is to mislead him into thinking theres a huge demand for it, so he'll keep talking about it--when his supporters are adamantly against it and him discussing it hurts his support because even just discussing mandatory testing/vaccination looks like he's pushing towards it.

Hes being played by the press.

He should tell them, the next time they ask, that "most people don't even want or need it. The way it looks, theres gonna be plenty of tests and vaccines because so few are gonna want them."

The tests aren't being paid for by the people getting tested. So what's your point? This whole pandemic is being bankrolled by the government as if it is selectively socialist for this one issue.

Not really. It kind proves that socialist health care is superior. Because now that the US can't deny it, it has adopted it.
