It might be an old wives tale, but in the British navy around the 1700s barrels that were stored in the cargo hold that contained volatile or breakable items were labeled "Secure Holding In Transit" or "S.H.I.T" for short. These barrels were about 100L in volume... so there you go. 100 liters= one shitload. :p

Actually I do :) everything divisible by 10 / 1000.

Feet in yard = 3

Feet in fathom = 6

Feet in chain = 66

Feet in mile = 5280

That's much easier!

However, I'm not sure the precision is warranted in this case.
