Probably true. Does it matter? Why is that a metric for success or quality? How about measuring the productivity increase of each job already in existence? Or the real material created by said jobs? Or the quality of the materials–is the length of time between creation and reclamation increasing or decreasing? Or, more operatively, measure the compensation (weighted against specie) with regard to the increase in productivity. Does it keep up? Of course not.

You shouldn't waste your time thinking about partial statistics like that. "Number of jobs created" means nothing by itself and describes very little. How many jobs were lost in the same time period? How many manufacturing jobs were lost? How many of the created jobs were filled by U.S. citizens?

When someone presents such a tiny sliver of information as that, understand they're trying to deceive you. Just ignore it.

Looks pretty true. Trump also does constantly lie about really petty stuff. His resume is essentially to be a great bullshitter.
