I remember when this happened and it just didn't add up. I have some pictures somewhere that I saved and the transmission indeed was waaaaay further down the road.

Ok..will start going through all my saved stuff...may take a bit. ALso never posted a pic here before so may need a bit of assistance. I don't use any of the social media apps.

Michael Hastings sadly executed for being a Patriot dropping Bombs. Great spotlight on his hard work.

Maybe his best story is going to get published soon. The remote control mechanism (at them time) was a telemetry capable interface made by Bosch, yeah that research I did on that at the time (IIRC) the black box had interface / updatable telemetry that could monitor / update wirelessly any function of the automobile. Unfortunately it could be backed easily, YT vids at the time had folks unlocking and stealing the cars wirelessly. Those Bosch boxes are in most your buses as well, especially since the advent of "paperless logs" for drivers which count miles and hours ,on ,off with GPS overlay including start ,stop, throttle position, brake application, sensor in the driver seat tells if driver gets up, Every function.Considering that almost all vehicles now have " fly by wire" throttle control( no physical cable) mass transit buses are a very high risk for this.@ Least that was my research I had done then.very similar to the " uninterrupted auto pilot " on aircraft. JMHO nice post!

Here's another interesting Hastings article. Talks about psy-op of visiting dignitaries to Camp Eggers in Afghan. This is why the 1948 Smith-Mundt Act was "modernized"
"The bill purpose is "to authorize the domestic dissemination of information and material about the United States intended primarily for foreign audiences"
Key Words: 'Intended primarily'

Reportedly, he asked the neighbor if he could loan his car, instead of using his own Mercedes. I am wondering, if he suspected something, what made him use a suspicious vehicle?
[–] Qdini [S] ago
He might have suspected something but since he had no alternatives, he drove it anyway.

Exactly. To where was he going? What was he running from?
Does it not rather speak to the amount of panic that he was influenced by?
