Well keep going and don’t stop, 30 pounds is not enough so don’t reward yourself just yet, you have a ways to go, but I am very glad you started!!

That pic you showed above is not a healthy weight, no matter how you see it. You need to continue on this journey of consistent weight loss with good habits instilled to change your lifestyle. That’s probably not your pic either, whoever that is keep going!

I'm 6' 3". I used to weigh 315. Now, as of this morning, I'm 202. Losing the weight didn't happen because my father used to mock me for it. It happened because I chose to lose the weight as a payment that I owed myself for at least getting this far. I started using the gym at the apartment complex I used to live at. I used to work out a little while after lunch because it was when the gym was least used. I started working out for longer and longer, just using the elliptical. I lost enough weight to get to around 280. Then, I enrolled in a gym, and really started working for it. I changed my diet, started taking supplements and protein shakes, and really focused on running and cardio exercises. Within 2 years, I was at 240. Pushing myself to lose the last amount of weight was the hardest. I went completely no excuses on myself and did the lowest intake Atkins diet for about 5 months. Went down to 210. I had surgery to remove the excess skin and tits. 15 more pounds later, I was at my lowest weight, 185. I maintained that weight carefully for a while. Recently, I started weight lifting due to the quarantine, along with trail running and biking. I've put on about 10 pounds already. I plan to get more upper body strength so I can get back to sport shooting. I've won second place at a 3 gun contest in Oklahoma, when I knew that I could perform better. I can't wait to see the progress that I'll have when I start again after the quarantine is soon over.

I respect the hell out of what you have accomplished. Good job! I have been a lifter for 20 years and this is what I really look like in my early 40s

I broke my LARP just for you out of respect. Make weight lifting your new focus and get JACKED. It will change everything about you both mentally and physically. You will look back on it as the best decision you ever made.

Honestly, the point of fuel that I used to start my weight loss journey came internally from a desire to show the people around me that I could be known as something other than "that fat guy." I'm training with a friend of mine regularly who used to be a soccer coach. This quarantine has been an amazing time for me, physically, because it forced me to divert myself back towards heading towards my goals. Most others would not see it that way, but every failure contains the seed to success if you realize that you are the one who needed to learn the lesson the hard way. I look back at myself from nearly a decade ago and I can't even remember who I was or what I was doing for a purpose. Now, I've inspired a lot of people around me to lose weight, and I even managed to get some family to stop eating certain junk foods. That's really how the true irony of every situation works out: the people who mocked you for failure one day will be the ones delivering your highest praise when you show them drive and accomplishment.

Dude ,you and I both know it takes a lifetime to get a solid gut like that!!

Do not give up on your gut, it’s yours to keep and share!!

Losing your gut will not make you a better person so you should probably just eat back those wasted 30 lbs.

You can do it!!
