Nature finds ways to punish our excesses. Or at least, there will always be an opposite reaction to extreme behavior such as massively overeating. A pathogen that’s especially fatal to fats is the most predictable manifestation of that when you think about it.

The fats had so much time and so many opportunities to fix themselves. Now it’s too late for a lot of them. I wonder if they’re nervous right now? Or do they just blast their dopamine receptors with more sugar and salt and mumble HAES mantras. My only regret is that they’re diverting medical resources from people who deserve it more.

One of the doctors is surnamed Lighter. Could you imagine the buttery ham-rage everytime a humungachungus has to see that.
i have to imagine if you're suffering from congestive heart failure then those respirators are working over time to keep your fatass breathing

We are giving up our way of life, destroying the economy and sacrificing the future of young people largely to extend the miserable lives of a bunch of hamplanets

"The doctor said I'm perfectly healthy, I'm just overweight" Dude, your heart and lungs work so much harder than a person with a normal BMI because you have so much more real estate to push all that sugary blood through. Not to mention you gave up on doing any exercise that gets your heart rate up so long ago because it just hurts too much . These are the people who are just going to get folded by this virus.
