Normal flu data from CDC - looks like we have been hit hard for last 6-16 weeks...hmmm....

You might be interested in COVID-view, too - in particular, their "provisional death counts" page which categorizes Pneumonia, Influenza, and COVID-19 separately, allowing you to peel apart deaths from "only COVID-19" from the other "buncha respiratory problems and also COVID" deaths: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/COVID19/index.htm

This is the scandal that exposes (has been exposing all along) the utter ineptitude and/or the diabolical duplicity of the MSM.

I'm glad you asked! Here's some data on exactly that subject!

https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/COVID19/index.htm (Current data in .csv format as of 2020-04-24)

Here it is assembled into a chart!

https://files.catbox.moe/ijoecf.jpg

You can see that influenza (light blue) deaths didn't really change much week-to-week (and neither did pneumonia), but COVID-19 deaths show a huge spike!

Please heed the big red box's warning, and note that none of the weeks with reported COVID-19 deaths are outside the "still being reported" window, so these numbers are likely to increase. Check back in 4 to 5 months to see the final counts for this time period!

Here's an illustration of this lag:

While we can't say for sure how high the deaths were during this period, we can definitely say that Influenza (& pneumonia) deaths weren't reported at 0. There definitely was not a sudden vanishing of Influenza & Pneumonia deaths that would explain the quantity of reported COVID-19 deaths.

More so pneumonia deaths, normally averge between 3-5,000 per week this time of year. CDC publishes weekly data. I know in week 9 it was down about 2,000 per week, could be at zero now.

I think President Trump should give himself the Presidential Medal of Freedom for eradicating influenza and pneumonia.

It would be the single greatest troll-move in human history.

Fraud and Birx keep saying it'll be worse next year because it will be hitting in flu season.

Here I thought Flu season was typically early November to late May if it's a cold spring.

Yes, and, "ALL" deaths are being counted as coronavirus deaths. My cousin died of bone cancer on April 12. She fought it for months, "way" before the KungFlu was released, her death was classified as coronavirus even though she did NOT have it.
