Yes, they have enough to worry about with their recently indicted professor on China's Wuhan payroll.

So the federal government is throwing out over 2 trillion dollars, but Harvard paying back ~10 million dollars is a win?

Why are institutes of higher education allocated money but small business owners have to apply and cross their fingers? This is beyond fucked up. Colleges and universities charge for room, board, tuition, health services, mail services, extracurriculars, and anything else they can put a price on. And they get that money from the students. So why do they need this extra money?

For their highly paid and ever increasing administration and staff.

So the staff gets a bonus for not having to do as much work since all the students were sent home? I get what you're saying, but it makes NO sense!

They are public institutions. You should be happy your slave money is going to something you send your children to.

We all are willing to sacrifice our liberty for paved roads amiright?

uhhh... my kid went to tech hs and then a tech college! He will graduate with about $10K to pay back, if that. And... he has a job line up for when he has to quit his internship job that he can't take further due to the hiring freeze the state imposed. Lousy bastards. Anyway, he is doing fine without that ivy league education. I myself attended a small liberal arts college from which I graduated owing nothing since they didn't charge tuition and found financial aid for room & board. That was a sweet deal!!!
