Grenell worded his letter to Schiff quite nicely Mine would have been a flame thrower.

I expect that Grenell's first reaction to this request was: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

When are Trump's agencies going to wake up?

These letters are designed to run the clock.

The agencies need to reassess these childish Congressional letter writing slavos and have a fundamentally different approach.

DNI should have (and in the future should) respond by filing a Declaratory Action in some Federal Court. Challenge the very premise of Congressional Obstruction in an Executive Branch function.

The Executive Branch is scared to go down that path -- HELLO, MR. BARR -- but until this separation of powers issue is resolved, our government will remain for decades in shambles.

I agree. We must get past this business as usual mentality and break the glass. These issues of separation of powers need to be resolved to stop this charade that allows the branches to essentially avoid getting anything done and being able to point the finger at the other guy as an excuse. This has allowed our government to remain in gridlock for decades while those responsible fleece the public.

I agree with you about enforcing separation of powers - except that it shouldn't be up to the judiciary.
