So how do satellites glow now? Space launches are easy to track, that's the only time they are that close. They maneuver into positions after that.

They don’t glow, but around dawn and dusk they can be seen against a darker sky because they are still illuminated by the sun due to their altitude. It’s similar to the phenomenon of noctilucent clouds.

Saw it last week. Spacing about length of a beer bottle held at arm's length. Says pass a fixed reference point about every 20 seconds. I lost count of how many I watched pass.

Yes, I assume they are the Statlinks. My husband and I saw 9 in a row last Thursday night while looking for a Hubble pass over our area on the coast of Texas. We spotted Hubble on Wednesday night also but the Starlink satellite's were a bonus...like a string of diamonds. They will launch 60 more this Wednesday.

Of course not Patriot!
Elon Musk is launching thousands of satellites to provide internet service worldwide. His project is called Starlink and presently he can launch 60 satellites at a time but when his huge Starship is launching in the next couple of years it will have the payload of hundreds of satellites at one time. This will make him the largest internet provider.
You can check out the site heavensabove.com to see what's passing over your area and enjoy!
