Get Skyrim and work through some of the ENB mods.

In my opinion the easiest way to make Skyrim vastly better-looking instantly at a reasonable framerate cost is to get one of the grassification mods.
Specially with an Oculus: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1C1ot8bVNKc
750ti won't cut it I don't think, framerate needs to be solid 60 for good vr. I have a 770 Gtx i use with my dk2 and even that is cutting it close for some games

off the top of my head,
The Witcher series, Dark Souls with dsfix mod and hi res textures, Bastion and more indie games than i can count.
If you just want a list of PC games with controller support you can search on steam for that

I strongly recommend Mount & Blade: Warband. Also any grand strategy game. Also Kerbal Space Program.

Just bought this during the weekend sale.
It's like a god damn time machine. You sit down to play and boom it's 4 hours later.

Was gifted this by a very generous voater. u/dsoltesz sent it my way. Great game so far. Already dropped 3 hours into it.

It definitely gets addictive. It's easy to lose several hours with "I'll just take this one city" and "just one more bandit party," and then you'll get invited to a feast and forget you were even going to stop playing.
