Rocket league is great fun, controller is the way to go with it IMO

You might have crossed paths with some of these on Xbox, but if not, I'd still play the following (ranked in personal preference; I have a strong platformer bias):

  • Mark of the Ninja
  • To the Moon
  • Shovel Knight
  • Left 4 Dead 2
  • Portal / Portal 2

Talos Principle is a very pretty game that is a great recommendation if you like puzzle games. I played it with mouse and keyboard, but I would expect it to play very well with a controller due to it's simple controls.

Games like Fallout and Elder Scroll games are great if you want to put lots of time into mods, as you can do a lot of cool things with both on PC that you couldn't do on console.

You can probably play XCOM games with just a mouse, if you do need a keyboard, it's for a minimal number of keys. It's turn based, so you don't need a great mouse surface, a wireless mouse on a couch or coffee table would work fine. XCOM games are a lot of fun.

Aside from Talos and Bethesda mods most PC games that would qualify as must haves and have good controller support are likely to already be on a console because they're essentially console ready at that point.

GTA V with all of the graphic settings turned up to their maximum. That will give your graphics card a good run for its money.

750ti won't cut it I don't think, framerate needs to be solid 60 for good vr. I have a 770 Gtx i use with my dk2 and even that is cutting it close for some games
