my boss at a small fab shop just called me in to make a foundry for melting aluminum ( i do blade-smithing & casy my furniture & fittings) i have 2 forges. one runs on propane, the other coal. cant find coal here in the south-west w/o crazy shipping $$$$
Did you custom design the propane forge or get inspiration from somewhere in particular? I don't have a ton of space.. Not going to be making a typical workshop setup.

I'm doing the real white man thing and building a forge to melt my cans into ingots.

I dunno, make fasteners and brackets for projects? Thermite? Ammunition? Whatever I want.

Let him actually follow through. We need Americans to understand and like manufacturing.
With a forge he can make molds for mass production including anything he 3D prints.
