The guy is a fucking slob. The very first, as I recall, virus press briefing, after he and Dr. vocal fry scarf lady and some others had assembled on the dais, but before the Presidents arrival, I was focusing on him and he raised his left arm and wiped his fucking nose on the sleeve of his suit jacket. If he acts in such a manner in public, what the hell can you imagine he does when he isn't?

Really rich people buy really expensive and really comfortable shoes. They will wear them as long as possible and have them repaired as many times as possible.
Just a FYI, even though Grandpa Jones was not really rich, he wore the same pair of boots in his act for his entire career, from the 1930s until 1998.

People do buy expensive shoes but they usually take good care of them.
His shoes look like shit. Speaks to who he is.

The soles wear out, and you don't notice the soles. I never see the soles of my own shoes, unless I specifically think to turn them over and look.

Someone on twitter suggested a listening device had been implanted in the sole. (Taken out before the picture?)
Maybe they do pat downs before they go into these high level meetings and are not allowed to bring in devices, maybe that is how a device could be brought into a meeting.
