What I want to know is whether anyone is looking into low-dose hydroxycholoroquine as a prophylactic measure. That would seem to be a method of fast forwarding into a so-called herd immunity scenario.

Patients who were taking hydroxychloroquine for their lupus have not been getting sick. Thus one would think that the answer is yes. The more that one can do to strengthen the immune system will guard against infection.
