Also why should landlords absorb the cost of their tenants' financial recklessness? If a person can't go one month without going broke, that person needs a budget.
If tenants need an extension on rent, I'm all for that and landlords absolutely shouldn't be allowed to evict as a result, but free rent because you choose to live paycheck to paycheck? Forget it.

There are several stories outlining how the stimulus states banks, lien holders, and taxes are extending or forgiving mortgage payments, interest, and taxes for a month and in some states till the end of May. Why there's no trickle down?
