Going to go against the trend...we're at almost 50k deaths globally and it'll hit 100k in 10 days. Is that just a model?

  • 60,000,000 people die each year from everything that isn't a Chinese virus.
  • 164,383 every single day. Broken down further, that's
  • 6,849 every single hour, or
  • 1.9 every second of every day

Globally, as of midnight UTC 4-2-20, we're sitting at 47,192 from Wu-Flu since the beginning. We'll call it mid-November for argument's sake. 138 days.

  • 47,192 / 138 = 341.9/day
  • 342 / 164,383 = 0.002

The number of deaths from Wu-Flu come to 0.2% of all daily deaths worldwide.

Oh, but it will be 100k in 10 more days?

  • 100,000 / 148 = 675.6 per day average
  • 676 / 164,383 = 0.0041

So even if we reach 100,000 deaths in the next 10 days, that's still 0.41% of all daily deaths worldwide. Out of literally all the things that could kill a human in any given day (and they're nearly impossible to count), one out of every 243 deaths will be due to Wu-Flu.

Right...Not saying it's end of the world. But it's still spreading exponentially. It might hit a few million worldwide. We can't ignore that. We shouldn't be okay with a power grab. But simple things like staying at home, washing hands, etc. is worth it.

catch the virus and check how cowardly it makes you feel.

it's a roulette, maybe you'll just have a cough. maybe a fever.

maybe you'll have no symptoms at all.

or maybe your lungs take a swim and your heart takes a shit.

can't hurt to try, eh brave soldier?
